Ceo, Adventures for the Soul
I am definitely moving into the second act of my life with a very clear intention to do more of what makes me feel ALIVE and present in this world.
After a broken marriage and years of struggling as a single mom, I decided to forgive myself for not knowing what I didn’t know and I began to educate myself on the value of fun, travel, and ADVENTURE!
When my daughter went off to college I started hiking. It sounds random but it felt so good to step away from worry and into nature. I loved it so much I began to do more outdoor activities. Camping, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, you name it. If it was outside, I wanted to do it. With every new adventure, I could literally feel my body and soul connect and I felt present. I WAS PRESENT! I don’t think I could ever say that before. It was like the universe was reintroducing me to me.
You know, you can tell a lot about a woman by what she has in the trunk of her car. Lol. Before my life of adventure, I was a dance teacher in New Jersey public schools for many years and in my trunk, you would find tons of costumes, ballet slippers, and ungraded papers rolling around. But now if you were to look in my trunk you would see hiking boots, camping equipment, an inflatable kayak, and my makeup kit (you never know ).
To make a long story short, with my new found passion I created ADVENTURES FOR THE SOUL, a community of dynamic women who are ready for new adventures and to own/feel their presence in this world. My goal is to encourage all women to step away from worry and into ADVENTURE!
